Camp Details
Ages: 5 – 7 years (Rising Kindergarteners – 2rd grade)
Hours: 9:00 – 12:00 (extended care is not offered for Stories Alive)
Price: $125 Members/$150 Non-members
Discounts: 10% off if paid in full by March 1, 2019 OR 10% off when registering one child for multiple camps or more than one child for any camps.
We read different books and do different activities in each camp. Camp offerings rotate each year.
Stories Alive! Optimists and Activists
In Optimists and Activists, make homemade butter, create fossils, go bird watching, learn sea chanteys and more!
Stories Alive! Heroes and Heroines
In Heroes and Heroines, bake on an open hearth, go on garden explorations, study in a 19th-century school, write secret coded messages and more!
Stories Alive! Voyages and Discoveries
In Voyages and Discoveries, write with a quill pen, conduct experiments like Ben Franklin, take a journey on the Underground Railroad and more!
Stories Alive! Adventure and Invention
Become an apothecary & create 18th-century toothpowder, make treats on an old-fashioned cookstove, play a game of Town Ball (early baseball) and more!
